Choi took to his social media on April 3 to express his thoughts, starting with, “I saw the statement released by Gold Medalist.”
He explained, “You stated that it wasn’t a body double but a standing actor. Although I had previously raised suspicions about coercion, I came to understand based on various testimonies that there was no coercion. I believe the scene was filmed according to the storyboard.”

Despite this, he continued, “If there were no issues with the film production at the time of shooting, I now ask for a transparent explanation regarding Director Lee Jung-sub’s departure during production.”
Choi further added, “Director Lee Jung-sub had already filmed about 80% of ‘Real’ when he was still the director. It’s hard to understand how a director could leave after shooting that much. If there are any errors in this statement, I would appreciate it if you could point them out.”
“Real” was originally written and directed by Lee Jung-sub, but during post-production, the director was replaced by Lee Sa-rang (now known as Lee Ro-be), who is Kim Soo-hyun’s cousin and currently CEO of Gold Medalist.
Meanwhile, Kim Soo-hyun is currently involved in a dispute with the family of late actress Kim Sae-ron, who passed away in February. The family alleges that Kim Soo-hyun was dating Kim Sae-ron when she was underage, but Kim Soo-hyun denies the accusation of underage dating.
Amidst all this, Sulli’s brother took to his social media to urge Kim Soo-hyun’s camp to clarify the suspicions surrounding coerced performance of a bed scene in “Real“.
