KARA’s Han Seungyeon Performs at University Festival Despite Neck Injury, Fans Urge Her to Rest
KARA’s Han Seungyeon worried fans after performing at Sogang University’s festival while undergoing treatment for a worsening cervical disc condition.
Recently, videos of KARA performing at Sogang University’s festival on September 18 have been spreading across various online communities.
In the clips, KARA performed a string of their signature hits, including “Pretty Girl,” “Honey,” “Lupin,” “Step,” and “Mister.” However, instead of focusing solely on the excitement surrounding the group’s appearance, many comments expressed concern about Han Seungyeon’s condition. Unlike the other members, she appeared to minimize movements involving her neck while performing the choreography.
Han Seungyeon kept her neck noticeably straight throughout the performance. During certain parts of the choreography, she appeared unable to move her upper body freely, while her facial expression also seemed somewhat tense. After seeing the videos, netizens left comments such as, “It’s uncomfortable to watch,” “Wouldn’t it be better for her to rest for a while?” and “Why are they putting someone who’s injured on stage?”
Han Seungyeon had already raised similar concerns among fans last month when she performed at a fan meeting while appearing to be in much the same condition.
Meanwhile, Han Seungyeon is reportedly receiving treatment after symptoms related to a cervical disc condition recently worsened.
