On the morning of September 23, Starnews reported that Song Hye Kyo recently reunited for a meal with Kang Dong Won, often dubbed a “living sculpture” for his looks, actress Moon So Ri, and director Jang Joon Hwan. Song Hye Kyo herself shared a rare glimpse of the gathering with fans on her personal social media account. She posted a photo of a dining table filled with food and tagged Moon So Ri’s account as well as Kang Dong Won’s fashion brand account.
Song Hye Kyo and Kang Dong Won previously portrayed lovers in the 2010 film Love for Sale, directed by Jang Joon Hwan. The project also marked the beginning of Song Hye Kyo’s close friendship with director Jang, which has now lasted for around 16 years.
The gathering involving Song Hye Kyo and Kang Dong Won quickly attracted considerable attention, as the two stars were once surrounded by dating rumors and speculation that their on-screen romance had developed into a real-life relationship. The rumors gradually faded only after Song Joong Ki entered Song Hye Kyo’s life.
