An exclusive report by MyDaily on October 2 revealed that Jo Bo Ah has officially joined the cast of the upcoming drama The Obedient Killer and is gearing up for filming.
In the series, Jo Bo Ah will portray Lee Hwa Ra, also known as “Miss Lee,” who exudes a sophisticated aura with her short haircut and impeccably tailored suits. She speaks in a dry tone, maintains a cold demeanor, and is focused on excelling in her pursuits without getting entangled in romantic entanglements.

Initially, the role was to be portrayed by Lee Chung Ah, but due to a car accident in August resulting in a back injury, Jo Bo Ah was chosen as her replacement after Lee Chung Ah was advised to limit movement for over six weeks, halting her participation in the project.
Jo Bo Ah, who got married in October 2024 and welcomed a son in February, has been recovering and training diligently to prepare for filming the drama.
The Obedient Killer is set in the 1970s and 1980s, focusing on a woman who transitions from her sheltered life aiming to be a devoted wife and mother to entering the workforce unexpectedly. The series promises to deliver a noir drama centered on a seemingly delicate and innocent protagonist.
Joining Jo Bo Ah in the cast are Kim Da Mi and Jo Aram, with the script penned by Joo Hwa Mi, known for The Atypical Family, and Lee Jung Heum directing the series, known for Inspector Koo and Our Movie.
