BIGBANG’s G-Dragon is once again making headlines after fans noticed activity from his official social media account involving IVE’s Jang Wonyoung.
Following Jang Wonyoung’s uploads of photos from a fashion brand event, netizens observed that G-Dragon’s official account had liked the post.
This interaction caught attention as it was not the first time the BIGBANG star had liked one of Wonyoung’s posts. Fans had previously noticed a similar engagement with a post shared by the IVE member in August, making this the second instance to draw public attention.
As discussions spread online, G-Dragon’s previous comments about his social media habits resurfaced. In an appearance on Epik High’s YouTube channel, the singer explained that there is often no specific meaning or hidden intention behind the posts he likes.
“When I’m traveling by car or have some free time, I quickly look through my feed and naturally like posts that catch my attention. As I keep scrolling through content recommended by the algorithm, I sometimes end up causing unexpected situations or making mistakes,” G-Dragon explained.
Despite his previous explanation, the recent interaction still faced criticism from some netizens, with several questioning his behavior and advising the 38-year-old singer to “act his age.”
Some comments included, “Is he trying to make a move on her?”, “Just act your age,” and “Usually people like other posts too so it doesn’t look obvious when they like someone’s post.” Another commenter claimed, “He’s trying so hard to get her.”
