IVE’s official social media accounts posted a video on October 5, featuring a mysterious person riding a bicycle along the Han River without any context provided.
The individual wore a Batman-like mask, long gloves, and boots, along with a purple cape that caught immediate attention due to its unique appearance.
By displaying a promotional poster for the group’s upcoming album Looks Can Kill on a wall, the mysterious figure indirectly hinted at being a member of IVE.

Shortly after, eyewitnesses flooded social media platforms with accounts of other IVE members appearing across the city in different hero costumes. From reading newspapers on rooftops to cleaning subway platforms and taking city bus tours, the members were seen engaging in various activities.
Notably, Jang Wonyoung, believed to be one of the heroes, was spotted at a mountaintop outdoor gym known as a “sansujang” in Seoul. She sprayed mosquito repellent, tested the gym equipment, and even took a nap on a bench, amusing fans with her unexpected actions.

Enthusiastic netizens responded to IVE’s unconventional activities with comments like, “I expected magical girls, but their outfits were the real star,” “They are heroes of everyday life,” and “I am a fan of IVE from today onwards,” showcasing their amusement and support.
Simultaneously, Starship Entertainment, IVE’s agency, released teaser images for the group’s mini-album Looks Can Kill on October 2 through IVE’s official social media channels.
