Bora claims she was the most popular SISTAR member with men, attributing it to her cheerful demeanor at the time.

On October 7, SISTAR member and actress Bora appeared as a guest on the YouTube show No Back Tak Jae Hoon, where she faced Tak Jae Hoon’s signature line of questioning.

As soon as Bora appeared, Shin Gyu Jin asked why she had lost so much weight. The comment immediately lifted her mood, as she smiled and responded in a noticeably higher tone of voice.

The conversation soon turned to Hyolyn, who recently appeared on No Back Tak Jae Hoon to promote her solo album. Because Bora appeared on the show some time after Hyolyn, the hosts jokingly questioned whether the two had fallen out.

Speaking about Hyolyn’s solo career, Bora said, “I think it’s really cool that she continues to pursue the style she wants on her own and keeps working hard.”

Bora then revealed that she had also released new music. When she mentioned that it was a duet, Tak Jae Hoon and Shin Gyu Jin teasingly asked whether she had “switched sides.”

Tak Jae Hoon did not stop there, bluntly pointing out that Bora mainly handled rap parts in SISTAR and asking whether she had originally struggled with singing. Bora responded that she does sing from time to time and has been taking vocal lessons.

When asked to sing a short line, however, Bora suddenly became serious and said, “I have trauma when it comes to singing.” Tak Jae Hoon was baffled, asking how she could say that after releasing an album. Bora explained, “When I was a trainee, my voice froze during a monthly evaluation. It became a traumatic experience, and I couldn’t sing.”

After checking Bora’s age, Tak Jae Hoon wondered just how young she had been during her SISTAR days and asked whether she was still innocent. Bora replied that she was no longer as innocent or naive as she once was. Asked what she meant by that, she explained, “In the past, I didn’t realize when a man was flirting with me. Now I can tell to some extent.”

When Tak Jae Hoon asked what kind of behavior she considered flirting, Bora fired back, “You probably know better than I do.” Tak Jae Hoon jokingly insisted that he had never been particularly good at it while flashing a mischievous smile.

Bora also opened up about her ideal type. “I like a man who is emotionally stable,” she said, adding that having an immediate connection or chemistry when they first meet is the most important thing to her.

She also spoke about her past relationships, revealing that the men she dated generally had a kind and gentle appearance.

It was also revealed that Bora tends to take very good care of her boyfriend, almost as if she were looking after a son. “I naturally take care of people a lot, so I think that’s why people say I’m like a mother,” she explained. However, she added that she now wants to experience a relationship in which she is the one being cared for.

Bora also recalled one of the worst breakups she had experienced. One morning, her former boyfriend affectionately told her, “Baby, I’m going to go do something now,” only to break up with her that same evening. When she asked why, he admitted that he had been thinking about ending the relationship for some time but had never told her. Bora recalled thinking that she could at least have prepared herself emotionally if he had shown some signs, before ultimately telling him, “Fine, have a good life,” and letting him go.

Bora surprised the hosts by revealing that even when a boyfriend makes her angry, she tends to hold back and express herself affectionately instead. No matter how upset she is, she initially tries to explain things indirectly while maintaining a cute tone. However, if the same issue happens repeatedly, she eventually sits down for a serious conversation to resolve it.

Bora also revealed that she considered herself the SISTAR member who was most popular with men during the group’s active years. Explaining why she believes she received so much attention, Bora said, “I was especially cheerful back then.”
