On October 14, a video titled “IU Came to Kim Young Ok‘s House… And Even Na Moon Hee?! Dinner With the Three and IU’s Final Letter” was uploaded to actress Kim Young Ok’s YouTube channel.
In the video, Kim Young Ok invited Na Moon Hee and IU to her home for a special dinner. Before IU arrived, Na Moon Hee, who had come earlier, curiously asked Kim Young Ok how she had managed to invite the younger star to her house.
Kim Young Ok explained, “She said she would appear on my YouTube channel. I was surprised too.” She then added, “You also said you would come if it was IU, even though you might not have agreed for someone else. I was relieved.” Na Moon Hee immediately agreed, expressing her affection for the singer-actress by saying, “I like IU.”
Na Moon Hee and IU previously worked together on the Netflix drama When Life Gives You Tangerines. Once all three actresses gathered around the table, their conversation naturally turned to their experiences filming the acclaimed series and the memories they had made on set.
During the discussion, IU recalled one of the drama’s most heartbreaking moments. “There was a character named Chun Ok, played by Na Moon Hee,” she explained. “I cried the most when that character died. That was the saddest moment for me.”
Hearing IU’s words, Na Moon Hee responded with a heartfelt message, saying, “I really hope people will cherish IU and treat her with lots of love.” The veteran actress’s sincere expression of affection appeared to catch IU off guard. She briefly hesitated as she struggled to contain her emotions, while Na Moon Hee also fell silent for a moment. The touching pause between the two created an emotional atmosphere.
IU then expressed her gratitude, saying, “Senior Moon Hee really took such good care of me.” Kim Young Ok added a lighthearted comment that further highlighted Na Moon Hee’s affection for IU. “She doesn’t meet people she doesn’t want to see. She must really like you,” the veteran actress remarked, bringing warmth to the heartfelt gathering.
