On October 21, A2O LITE made an appearance on MBC FM4U’s Kim Shin Young’s Noon Song of Hope, with Sunny, Lee Soo Man’s niece and a senior artist and producer at the same agency, serving as a special DJ in place of Kim Shin Young. The members engaged in discussions on various topics during the show.
During the broadcast, the A2O LITE members shared their surprise at the enthusiastic response their debut song received. OA mentioned, “The reaction to our debut song was really amazing. I think many people like it because of its addictive beat and melody.”
The group was thrilled to have achieved No. 1 on a music chart in the shortest time after their debut. They fondly remembered celebrating this milestone by enjoying an ice cream cake together.
One of the topics discussed was a video featuring AI-generated versions of Lee Soo Man and Yoo Young Jin performing “NEON.” The members expressed their initial surprise upon seeing the video.
Sunny shared, “I was also surprised, which is why I posted it.” She further revealed an interesting behind-the-scenes anecdote, saying, “There’s a video of Mr. Lee Soo Man dancing. He once briefly performed Aijing’s intro choreography. We have that video, and if the opportunity comes, I’ll release it.” Her comments raised anticipation among fans to witness the producer’s dance moves.
Aijing also expressed her gratitude towards Lee Soo Man, stating, “I was really nervous. I kept feeling anxious because I wasn’t doing well, but Mr. Lee Soo Man helped me.”
Achieving a No. 1 win on a music show just one week after debut, A2O LITE’s success was highlighted by their strong digital performance of “NEON,” despite not having robust physical album sales. The paired choreography in the song’s opening section garnered significant attention on social media, sparking various parodies and AI-generated edits.
