Some Brazilian aespa fans have voiced strong dissatisfaction with the group’s most expensive VIP package, particularly the Send-Off experience, with some reportedly gathering information for a potential complaint to local consumer protection authorities.
According to official ticketing information from Brazil’s Ticketmaster for aespa’s São Paulo concert, the highest-tier aespa Send-Off VIP Package was priced at 2,689 Brazilian reals, equivalent to approximately KRW 705,000. The concert took place on September 4 at Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu as part of the group’s 2026–27 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK : COMPLæXITY.

A Send-Off is an event held after a concert where selected VIP ticket holders are given an opportunity to briefly see the artists up close and say goodbye in a designated area or along a specific route. Unlike a traditional fan meeting, such packages do not necessarily guarantee individual photos, autographs, or extended one-on-one conversations, and the exact format can vary depending on the concert and organizer.
The package’s total price consisted of a 990-real ticket for the Pit A or Pit B sections, approximately KRW 260,000, plus a 1,699-real VIP service fee worth roughly KRW 446,000. Buyers were promised more than standard concert admission, including priority entry, access to aespa’s post-concert Send-Off, exclusive merchandise, an official photocards set, a VIP lanyard, priority merchandise purchasing, and dedicated staff assistance.
The controversy began after the concert ended.

On September 5, a complaint was reportedly posted on Reclame Aqui, a Brazilian consumer complaint platform, targeting Live Nation Brazil over the handling of aespa’s VIP experience.
One buyer claimed they had been instructed to arrive before the scheduled time to collect their VIP merchandise but still had not received it by the end of the concert. They also alleged that staff members failed to provide clear information about where the merchandise could be collected after the show.
The fan also expressed dissatisfaction with the Send-Off, claiming that the interaction “didn’t even last five seconds.” They argued that despite spending more than 2,000 reals, approximately KRW 525,000, the experience fell far short of their expectations due to the way the event was handled.
