Lee Hi will hold the LEEHI SOLO CONCERT at NOL Theater Hapjeong Dongyang Life Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul, at 6 p.m. on October 3.
The concert was previously reported to have completely sold out. However, according to the ticketing status revealed on September 26, a number of available spots have reappeared throughout standing sections A and B.
Additional tickets were released on September 23, and based on the current seating chart, a total of 65 spots remain available. With sales of the newly released tickets moving slowly and additional spots becoming available due to cancellations following the initial sellout, the number of visible vacancies has noticeably increased.
The concert carries particular significance for Lee Hi. It marks approximately 13 years since she held her first solo concert, RE-HI, at Sogang University’s Mary Hall Grand Theater in May 2013, making this her first full solo concert under her own name in more than a decade.
Lee Hi also held a solo performance in August 2019, but that show was part of a relay concert series rather than a standalone concert of her own.
Meanwhile, a world tour that had been scheduled for August this year was completely canceled. At the time, her agency, 808 HI RECORDINGS, said the tour organizer had failed to make the required payments and adequately prepare for the concerts, adding that it would pursue legal action.
Although the world tour was canceled, expectations appeared high for Lee Hi’s long-awaited solo concert in Korea. However, the event does not seem to be generating as much buzz as news of her romantic relationship. Attention is now focused on whether Lee Hi can reunite with her domestic fans and fill the stage with the distinctive soul and R&B sound for which she is known.
Lee Hi first gained public recognition through the SBS audition program K-pop Star before officially debuting in the music industry with her 2012 single “1, 2, 3, 4.” She has since released numerous songs, including “Breathe,” “Rose,” “Hold My Hand,” “My Love,” “Scarecrow” and “MY STAR.”
In March this year, Lee Hi confirmed that she was dating rapper Dok2. The pair also established the joint label 808 HI RECORDINGS and released the duet “You & Me.”
