The post created a huge wave of massive hate against BTS with exols and other kpop fandoms disrespecting the group, diminishing their hardwork and questioning their dignity.
The massive hate train lasted for two days before the exol responsible for this finally apologized for their actions through their twitter account.
The apology:

1. exols have always been obsessed with bts, it’s not new
2. BTS really got exols making up stuff. The desperation is crazy.
3. SM has a long history of corruption. They should worry about that.
4. EXO was literally given wins over acts like IU whi had more digital points, more streams. These crazy fans need to leave BTS alone.
