However, sources contacted by The Times reported that Christine Cabot’s husband, Andrew, who was reportedly in Japan at the time, was actually at the same Coldplay concert.

According to the source, Christine was seated in the same box as her coworkers, and Andrew was also present with another woman, now his girlfriend.

Christine filed for divorce in August in a Portsmouth, New Hampshire, court.

A source told The Times about the Cabots, “They had been separated for weeks before [the concert] and were amicable. People going through divorce proceedings are not allowed to speak publicly, so Christine wasn’t in a position to speak out.”

The source also said Byron was separated from his wife at the time of the Coldplay concert, but had not yet filed for divorce.

He also testified that the relationship between the two people, who were caught on camera embracing, was not an affair but rather a friendship.

He said, “Christine admitted that it was inappropriate for her, as the company’s HR manager, to behave in such a way with her superiors,” but added, “That was all.”
