BTS’s V and BLACKPINK’s Jennie, previously caught in dating rumors, have once again sparked buzz after being spotted at the same place at the same time, and sharing photos taken with American rapper and producer Tyler, The Creator.
On the 14th, Tyler held his ‘CHROMAKOPIA TOUR’ concert at Hall 10 of KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. While Tyler’s explosive performance lit up the stage, what heated up the crowd just as much was the presence of major Korean celebrities.
Notably, V and Jennie each attended the concert and took backstage photos with Tyler, which caught the attention of fans.
V came to the venue with fellow BTS members J-Hope and RM. Jennie, without her BLACKPINK bandmates, attended with model Lee Ho-jung. Both enjoyed the show and took verified photos backstage. Tyler also shared photos taken with V, Jennie, and others on his personal account, expressing joy over meeting Korea’s top idols.
After the concert, V posted a photo on his social media wearing a T-shirt gifted by Tyler. Along with it, he wrote: “Thank you for the gift. Welcome to Korea! I’m going to eat a Mom’s Touch burger tonight. You should definitely try it too.”
The burger reference was in response to a playful freestyle rap Tyler did during the concert, where he joked: “Y’all got Mom’s Touch? Why didn’t anyone tell me it’s this good?”
V and Jennie also drew attention for their matching fashion, both sporting trendy Acne Studios jeans. Interestingly, it’s reported that both received the same gift from Tyler.
The dating rumors between V and Jennie go back to May 2022, when the two were spotted allegedly traveling together in Jeju Island. Later, leaked private photos from Jennie’s account further fueled speculation. As more intimate photos surfaced, fans increasingly accepted the rumors as fact.
In 2023, V reportedly traveled to France to meet Jennie during the Cannes Film Festival. The two were seen holding hands by the Seine River in Paris, sparking global media attention.
Despite the ongoing hints and sightings, neither of their agencies, HYBE for V, and YG Entertainment for Jennie, have confirmed the relationship, consistently labeling it as “private matters.”
In November 2023, V enlisted for his mandatory military service, leading to breakup rumors. However, after his enlistment, fans speculated a reunion when he was seen wearing a necklace with initials linked to Jennie. Still, both agencies continue to remain silent on the matter.
