Jennie (BLACKPINK) Impresses with Her Affluence: A Peek Inside Her Lavish Hannam Office Relocation

Posted on

Reports from Korean media on September 3 revealed that ODD ATELIER, the management company of Jennie, will be moving its headquarters to a new building in Hannam, Yongsan District, this November. This decision comes after the expiration of the current office lease in Itaewon, Seoul, this October.

The new building is described as lavish, covering almost 1,000 square meters with five floors (four above ground and one basement). Designed by Hong Tae Seon, the only Korean architect licensed in the U.S. and an honorary member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the structure features high-end materials and a gallery-inspired exterior, with a rooftop providing a stunning view of the Han River.

A Building That Screams Wealth

Netizens were taken aback by the exorbitant cost of the property. Market reports indicate a deposit ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 billion won (approximately USD 1.07 to 1.79 million). The monthly rent falls between 60 and 80 million won (around USD 43,000 to 57,300), with the estimated market value of the property reaching an astounding 45 billion won (USD 32.2 million).

The decision to lease the entire property sparked conversations about Jennie’s financial influence as a solo artist. Online reactions include:

  • “Insane! It’s just Jennie, yet she’s renting out an entire building of that size. Incredible.”
  • “Jennie is the face of Chanel for handbags, watches, and fashion collections. She must be making a fortune.”
  • “She’s incredible.”
  • “She became even richer after going solo.”

Jennie’s Fortune Beyond BLACKPINK

Unlike many actors who invest in real estate through bank loans, BLACKPINK and BTS are so wealthy that they bypass traditional property strategies altogether. As one fan noted: “That’s proof of just how rich they are.”

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Jennie’s personal net worth as of April 2025 is estimated at USD 30 million, while IconPolls suggests USD 30–40 million.

Jennie isn’t the only member drawing attention for her fortune. Recently, Rosé topped Forbes Korea’s 2025 YouTuber ranking, thanks to her channel’s 18.1 million subscribers and 3.6 billion total views from just 86 videos. Her annual revenue is estimated at 11.1 billion won (USD 7.98 million). Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s group channel boasts 96.8 million subscribers and 38.8 billion views, generating around 8.12 billion won (USD 6 million) in revenue.
