Actor Kim Soo Hyun’s agency Gold Medalist has filed an additional criminal complaint against Garo Sero Institute (Garo Sero) operator Kim Se Ui for criminal intimidation (blackmailing).
The agency had previously filed a report on March 20 accusing Garo Sero of violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes after releasing a private photo of Kim Soo Hyun during a YouTube livestream. Despite this, Garo Sero reposted the same image in another broadcast on March 21.

“This behavior is a clear violation of the law and shows disregard for the authorities,” Gold Medalist stated. “It is criminal conduct that defies common sense.”
Garo Sero also made a verbal threat to release alleged video footage of Kim Soo Hyun unless Disney+ cancels the release of the upcoming original K-drama “Knock-Off,” in which the actor stars. The implications made during the broadcast in relation to the Nth Room case further fueled backlash.
Gold Medalist refuted the Nth room-related accusations as false, stating there is no such footage and the claims by Garo Sero are baseless and malicious.
As a result of the controversies, Kim Soo Hyun’s upcoming series “Knock-Off” is facing indefinite postponement, raising uncertainty about its future.
