Attorney Bang Sung-hoon from LKB & Partners, representing Kim Soo-hyun, has confirmed that there are lawsuits against the actor by some advertisers. The specific amount of these claims is currently difficult to verify.
These lawsuits come in the wake of allegations made by YouTuber Kim Se-ui from the Garo Sero Institute, which imply that Kim Soo-hyun had a relationship with actress Kim Sae-ron when she was a minor. Both parties have vehemently denied these claims. Bang emphasized that the claims are based on falsehoods and have no legal or contractual basis, labeling the situation as a form of “secondary victimization.”

Several media outlets have reported that brands like Cuckoo Electronics, Frombio, and Trendmaker are collectively seeking damages totaling ₩7.34 billion, citing breach of contract and damage to their brands. Additionally, there are reports that some of Kim’s assets have been frozen in a separate lawsuit brought by a medical device company.
Bang has mentioned that the legal team anticipates the resolution of this matter once the claims by Garo Sero are proven false in the ongoing investigations.
