The legal battle surrounding the tragic death of Kim Sae-ron has taken a new twist, with Bu Ji-seok, the legal representative for the late actress’s family, being reported to the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) for alleged misconduct.
Specifically, on April 29, a complainant known as Mr. A filed a public interest report against Attorney Bu Ji-seok, accusing him of exceeding his legal advisory role and engaging in unlawful activities. Mr. A alleges that the attorney not only gave flawed legal advice but also spread false information while representing the grieving family. Additionally, A suspects that Bu Ji-seok may have been involved as an accomplice in the execution of illegal acts.
Meanwhile, Kim Sae-ron’s family had previously alleged that actor Kim Soo-hyun had an inappropriate relationship with the actress when she was a minor. These claims were made public during a press conference, where Bu Ji-seok used strong language like “grooming sexual crime”.
