Honestly, ILLIT was just too similar to NewJeans from the start, and regardless of my personal opinion, I genuinely don’t understand why they felt the need to copy NewJeans.
If they genuinely wanted to explore a magical girl worldview, they could have done so with plenty of attractive source material without needing to make it look similar to NewJeans. Seriously, why waste it like that? It’s a real mystery
