Sarada’s Mangekyo Sharingan possesses a daunting black hole-like gravity that may remind One Piece fans of something familiar.

Boruto has recently granted Sarada Uchiha the ability to use Mangekyo Sharingan, allowing her to create black spheres with powerful gravitational force.

Sarada’s new technique, known as Ohirume, goes beyond being just another powerful Uchiha jutsu. It enables her to manipulate forces that can crush and pull in opponents, albeit at a high cost. Interestingly, the mechanics of her power bear a striking resemblance to one of Marshall D. Teach’s dangerous abilities.

Sarada first used her Mangekyo Sharingan technique, Ohirume, in Chapter 20 of the Boruto manga during a confrontation with Ryu. Chapter 21 further explained the ability, revealing her capacity to create multiple black spheres simultaneously. Despite their small size, these spheres hold significant gravitational pull.

What sets Sarada apart is her ability to control the space around her instead of relying on traditional physical attacks or ninjutsu. Ohirume allows her to adjust the gravitational force’s intensity and choose what gets pulled towards the spheres, giving her precision akin to wielding miniature black holes in battle.

Additionally, Sarada can use the spheres for movement. When targeting a living being, the gravitational force affects her body as well. By manipulating the spheres’ positions, she can stay suspended in the air and move at high speeds.

However, Ohirume has a significant weakness. It consumes a vast amount of chakra, and consistent use of the Mangekyo Sharingan strains Sarada’s eyesight. Like other users of the Mangekyo Sharingan, she risks losing her vision permanently. This limitation forces Sarada to use the ability judiciously to avoid paying a high price.

In the world of One Piece, Blackbeard’s Devil Fruit possesses a similarly formidable gravitational power.

The comparison with Blackbeard becomes evident when looking at the Yami Yami no Mi. Blackbeard’s Devil Fruit allows him to manipulate darkness with a gravitational force that can pull everything into the void, even nullifying other Devil Fruit abilities.

Both Sarada’s Ohirume and Blackbeard’s powers generate similar gravitational forces, although their mechanics vary. The abilities transform dark energy into a powerful pulling force capable of consuming enemies.

While there are differences between the two powers, Blackbeard’s Devil Fruit goes beyond gravitational attraction by nullifying opponents’ abilities.

On the other hand, Sarada’s Ohirume focuses on controlling gravitational spheres, providing her with a versatile tool for offense, defense, and agile movement on the battlefield.
