The NEXROC Group and SVCV Co., Ltd. announced in a press release that they are currently reviewing the necessary procedures with the goal of launching a tender offer on the 20th of next month.
The acquisition target is 25% to 50% of JYP’s outstanding shares, a volume that would exceed the combined stake held by JYP’s Chief Creative Officer, Park Jin-young, and his related parties, which currently stands at around 15%.
1. I knew this would happen back when Park Jinyoung, despite having supposedly established a “system” for the company, neglected his actual duties to pursue his own career as an artist, parading around for years in mesh outfits. Please, just focus on running the company
2. Is it time to leave JYP?
3. The whole “declaration of war” thing just feels f*cking off-putting
4. What;s with this obsession with Japan? Is it some kind of Stockholm syndrome?
5. This is oba
6. JYP almost got taken over by LOEN back in 2014, so I’d imagine they’ve prepared well against that kind of thing by now
7. Cut the bullsh*t. Stop trying to latch onto Korea! Quit looking for a free ride and learn to stand on your own two feet for onceㅗ
8. I bet that they will get acquired
9. Wow, I f*cking hate this. I hate the fact that Japan and China are now trying to take over K-pop. They’ll milk it for all it’s worth, then go chasing after J-pop or C-pop instead, such toxic stuff
10. I’m seriously f*cking annoyed
