Around October 17, posts containing messages exchanged between Yunho and a fan on Bubble circulated across online communities and social media. The conversation reportedly took place in July.
In the messages, a fan expressed disappointment over Yunho’s infrequent communication. Yunho responded, “I’m sorry, but if you can’t understand, that’s okay. I’m also coming on Bubble as much as I can. I’m sorry I can’t satisfy you, but I think this is the best I can do. Please don’t provoke me unnecessarily.”

The fan reportedly complained that, given that Bubble is a paid service, it would be reasonable to expect the artist to communicate at least once a month. Controversy arose after Yunho responded firmly to a fan expressing disappointment over how often he reached out.
Yunho continued, “Please don’t talk to me like this. If you’ve chosen to speak in a deliberately provocative way, you don’t have to come anymore.” He added, “I respect that you may feel disappointed, but expressing yourself this way is not showing mutual respect. Let’s stop here!!”

As the conversation spread online, reactions to Yunho’s response were divided. Some people felt that fans paying for the service had a legitimate reason to be disappointed by the frequency of his messages and that his strong reaction was unfortunate. Others defended Yunho, arguing that even when expressing dissatisfaction with an artist’s communication style, fans should still treat each other with respect.
One internet user argued, “Honestly, he may not come around that often, but when he does, he stays for an hour at a time.” The user added, “He also does Instagram Live broadcasts for an hour, replies diligently to comments on Weverse, and continues to upload behind-the-scenes content.”

The commenter also pointed out that Yunho had a lot to deal with when uncertainty arose over whether a concert could proceed due to an issue involving the occupation of the handball venue. “After the concert was over, he told us he was sorry,” the user added.
Meanwhile, online discussions have also drawn comparisons between Yunho and actor Lee Kwang-soo, who recently joined Bubble. Lee launched his account on October 1 and attracted attention by sending fans a series of messages. His active communication has prompted some people to compare his messaging frequency with Yunho’s.
